2023/2024 AIMS African Master’s of Machine Intelligence Graduate Programme: Fully Funded Opportunity for African Students

The African Masters of Machine Intelligence (AMMI) program aims to
cultivate versatile Machine Intelligence (MI) researchers by emphasizing
foundational MI research and the creation of diverse applications that
address the current and future demands of Africa and the global
community. Graduates from AMMI will play a pivotal role in establishing
and contributing to top-notch industrial and public R&D laboratories
in Africa and beyond, thereby bolstering the African MI community and
the broader scientific community. Their work will lead to significant
advancements that benefit the greater good on a global scale

Eligibility criteria

• The minimum admission requirements are:
• A bachelor’s
  degree in mathematics, computer science, computer engineering,
  electrical engineering or a recognized equivalent from an accredited
  institution;
• A satisfactory scholastic average, usually a minimum average of B (or 80%) or better is required;
• Interest
  and/or background in artificial intelligence, machine learning etc.
  demonstrated in courses taken and projects undertaken;
• Consent
  to mentor an undergraduate student at your previous institution while
  enrolled at AMMI; Consent to mentor an AMMI student after graduation;
• Strong interest in solving national or continental problems using science and technology.
